The Greater Western Baseball Association is proud to announce that Jarryd Manuel will be heading up the Warriors’ inaugural entry in the Baseball NSW State Baseball League this coming Summer.
A second generation GWBA member, Jarryd has Warrior blood pumping through his veins having played throughout juniors and seniors for MacKillop Baseball Club, and representing our association as a Junior Warrior. In recent years, Jarryd has been heavily involved in our Warriors, including running our Winter Development programs and coaching our Junior Warriors at Baseball NSW – Little League State Championships.
Personally, Jarryd was part of the Third Grade winning team for Blacktown in last year’s State Baseball League, was the 2019 Assistant Head Coach for NSW Country Baseball at the Baseball.com.au Australian Under18s Youth Championships, was a coach within the Emerging Sydney Blue Sox, and previously represented NSW in the Under 23s Championships in 2010/11.
On behalf of the Association, we would like to congratulate Jarryd on his latest appointment, wish him and the squad the best of luck this season and continue to work towards opening day in September.
