As our League Age 10/11s and Little League Warriors all get ready to compete at the Baseball NSW – Little League State Championships for the next two weekends, a quick shoutout to Greater Western Baseball Association President, Michael Bryan, who has been appointed as the Tournament Director to oversee these titles, as well as the Intermediate League division, all running simultaneously at Peter Van Hasselt Reserve.
Having been involved with sports administration from his mid-teens at Penrith Baseball Club in roles that have included Promotions Officer, Assistant Secretary, and President, Michael was also instrumental in drafting the constitution that merged the Junior and Senior Clubs. Currently holding positions on multiple Baseball NSW sporting and planning committees, Michael has been at the helm of the Greater Western Baseball Association since July 2015.
Our fingers are crossed for clear skies for our Junior Warriors to see out the completion of their programs that started in December 2019, including the Junior League finishing at BISP on Sunday, and best wishes to Michael on a smoothly run event.
